My personal offering to our photo challenge is a mixed bag of wings, both in and out of view!

During a rare break from the heavy rain last week,  I enjoyed a morning walk around the Tarn. This local lake is situated close to Leeds and Bradford Airport, Yorkshire, England. The western end of the longest runway runs just above the northern edge of the lake.

The midweek Word-prompt on Weekly Prompts, the site I share with GC is Assumption, and when we discussed this word I assumed I would find it difficult to write about, let alone find a way to include the word.

Horoscopes  is the Midweek Word-Prompt over on GC’s and my Weekly Prompts site. We asked our readers to tell us whether they take horoscopes seriously, or with a pinch of the proverbial salt. GC also added a monthly video to our sidebar, take a peek  Here. 

Many celestial moons ago, checking my horoscope was a daily occurrence. I believed every word, and I would bend or stretch the predictions to suit my purpose, but that was when I was young and impressionable. This weekend over on Weekly Prompts , the site I share with GC, the Photo Challenge is Mysterious!

This is my personal response to our challenge.

A few days ago, I returned home to find a car, one I didn’t recogniseparked near the front door. I had a quick look around outside, couldn’t see anyone so assumed it must have been left here by a colleague of my daughter or son-in-law (they live here too, next door), perhaps they had driven off together.

A few minutes later I returned to the car, took a photograph and sent it to my daughter. A return message said neither of them knew anything about the car. Read More…

Owl and Mouse (14) Get Organised

My second creation in response to the Weekly Prompts Photo challenge  ‘Organised’  from https://weeklyprompts.com takes the form of a short video. the fourteenth in the Owl and Mouse comic book series.

Mouse thinks everyone is nest building and Owl puts him straight about things.
