RIP Lord Beari of Bow – Our Loss

“I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.”  Winston Churchill. 

It was with sadness that we learned this weekend that Brian, Lord Beari of Bow had passed away.  

I wasn’t intending to write a tribute; I was going to re-blog doesitevenmatter3 until I remembered Carolyn’s site was private.

A few of us stayed in e-mail touch with Brian during his recent heart illness, and as time went on, with his daughter Sarah. We knew the end was coming, but it doesn’t make it any less sad.
