I am?

It’s always the small pieces that make the big picture.” – quotediary.com.

Who am I

This Saturday the Weekend Challenge from partner GC and my site Weekly Prompts is What am I? Β Β A change of name for the monthly What is it series. We felt a change of name offered more scope for those wishing to participate in our challenge.

What am I? – Take a look at these photographs, read the questions and take a guess, then leave your answers in the comments. To see if you are correct, click the wordΒ Reveal at the bottom of the page.

July Whay Am I - One

Picture One – take a bite – my flavour is mild and nutty, so what am I?

Where do I belong? Am I what you think I am – or am I something else?

What Am I - 4

Sometimes my cup runneth over – What am I?

Love starting my day off with this Sue.

    1. Looks like a pine cone

    2. A tire, but I don’t know to what.

    3. A brown egg. At first I was going to say coffee spilled on the floor.

    Thanks for the fun challenge!

    1. I should have included the one that was next to it in the nesting box, now that would have surprised you! Another time perhaps. Thank you, Misky.

  3. I saw what you did there, by putting your answer in a pdf, which presumably you were quietly able to upload, just before you posted this.
Made me think, whether it was possible to just write a regular post, make it publicly accessible, but just to suppress any notifications to followers, that you’d actually published anything. So I asked WP.
Apparently, you can achieve this by writing the post in Draft, by going into your site settings and making the site “private”, by then publishing the post, then going into your settings again and resetting the site to “public”.

But, I never tried it yet!

    1. I do most things in advance so the PDF was already uploaded, all I had to do was paste the link into my post before putting it on the schedule.

I know how to make a site private, I have one that I put on hold for a while.
but I don’t see how WP’s idea could work. surely the post would be announced as soon as it was published?

      1. it would make sense if they had a rule in there which was “only send notfications out if the site is marked as public”. But on that kind of thing, I woldn’t want to be the first to try it πŸ™‚.
