Saturday 2nd May
“Come on baby, come on down, come on baby, come on down, let’s razzmatazz and all that jazz! ~ Marvin Gaye
Over on Weekly Prompts this Saturday, GC and my weekend challenge is our monthly colour challenge, and for May we have chosen a fun word – Razzmatazz!
No, not the liquêur, nor the Marvin Gaye song, nor the television series.
Razzmatazz is a red-pink colour that was invented by Crayola in 1993, and first made its appearance in the Big Box of 96!
And here’s my colourful response!
My initial thought when I first saw this colour was – This is going to be easy. On the other hand, all is not always what it seems. See for yourself.
Feeling quite certain that within my folders I would find an abundance of pink/red images I very soon found that a pink flower simply isn’t red and a red flower isn’t in the pink.
I hope you will agree that within these delicate petals there is a delightful fusion of pink variations and hopefully you will see my Razzmatazz!
