“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.” – Luther Burbank.
This weekend our Saturday photo challenge over on GC and my site Weekly Prompts is Satisfaction, and was chosen by GC. This is my second response to the challenge.
It’s that time of year again when my youngest daughter Sophie and I try to cram in as many visits to places of interest as we possibly can (minus children) before the school holidays begin. Last week, we drove over to Harrogate (just 20 mins away) to visit the gardens at Harlow Carr, it had been a while since we’d visited, and it was well overdue another visit.
The RHS Garden at Harlow Carr is one of five public gardens run by the Royal Horticultural Society. Entry into the gardens is pretty pricey, at least we thought so, with gift aid it came to £12.98 each (16.18 US dollars). However, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing escape, and wandering around these very beautiful gardens was money well spent, and our satisfaction was more than achieved!
The Famous Betty’s Tearooms, also on-site, was where we planned to eat a light lunch, but we very quickly changed our minds upon seeing the queue.
