“What do you get when you cross an angry sheep with a cow in a bad mood? An Animal that’s in a baaaaaaaad moooooood!” ~ anon
Not my original choice for our challenge Rear, but seeing as I’ve had a small problem with graphics, I shall hold back on that until I’m certain all is well.
This morning while upstairs on the balcony, I used my phone to zoom in on a cow helping to rear two other calves, by that, I meant she was babysitting. Unlike sheep, these maternal cows help each other and often take turns to look after the little ones while the others go on a short walkabout. These calves are not very old, practically new-born, so for now, their mothers don’t walk them far. For the last couple of days, their mothers have grazed in the field outside my window and like all new babies, these three sleep a lot..
The other two mothers have taken a short walk down the fields.
Calves grow quickly, and it won’t be long before this little one will need to get down on his knees in order to reach his milk supply!
Please do let me know if these graphics are jumbled, thank you.
