At the start of January, we announced a colour challenge for the first Saturday of each month. This is my own response to our challenge.
On Christmas Day as I sipped my red wine, Snapchat gave me plump rosy red cheeks, wide open eyes, a festive red hat to sit atop my green paper crown and a funny black dot on the end of my nose! Courtesy of daughter Sophie!

The other day whilst having breakfast with my son in an upstairs cafe, we began to discuss pictures for the walls of his new house. The conversation turned to ‘Urban Views’. I suggested he be original and create his own artwork. “Take random photographs, you might surprise yourself with the result.” As an example I took a photo of the car park. We were pleasantly surprised at how the previously unnoticed red cars stood out.

Soon after New Year, two of my girls popped over with their children for a spot of lunch. I made a red raspberry trifle and we gave the little ones leftover red Christmas crackers.
