Mouse learns about Intuition

“Never apologise for trusting your intuition – your brain can play tricks, your heart can be blind, but your gut is always right!” ~ Rachel Wolchin

The Midweek Word-prompt over on our other site https://weeklyprompts.com is Intuition and was chosen by GC. This is my response to the prompt.

I intuitively knew what to do with this prompt! I’m leaving it to my little Owl and Mouse characters; it’s about time they had another outing!

The 15th in the Owl and Mouse Comic Book Series

PS. I jumped the gun a bit with this one, being an insider and all that, as soon as GC told me his Wednesday prompt I went ahead and created another Owl and Mouse comic book and without waiting to read his finished article. All of which means I have more to say, and a second response is on its way!

  1. Simply brilliant Sue, I’m just home from a long hard day at work, and you’ve made me smile from ear to ear, and intuitively you must’ve known that’s exactly what I needed right now, plus this glass of red wine I’m having….

    1. Of course Ivor, it’s just for you! So glad you like it. Don’t spill the wine 🍷 I made a terrible mess with mine.

By the way you were the inspiration for the new Weekly music prompt that we’re about to launch. I love listening to your choices and that prompted the idea. Not sure of the format yet and I’m certain we’ll have different ways of presenting it. Hopefully, it will be this Sunday. Enjoy your evening Ivor and thank you🙂

    1. Thank you Margo! It was the first thing that came into my head, just had to be Owl and Mouse. So glad I didn’t read the content first, if I had, these two would still be waiting for their moment of fame!

Awww, that’s a really cute cartoon. It was fun to watch. Reminded me of a combo shortie cartoon that went before a movie in the old days and the silent movies with the cards for dialogue.

    1. I’m glad you liked it, thank you. I started making the Owl and Mouse series last year. My daughter drew the two characters and I took it from there, occasionally I give them props. I might give them a background on their next airing.
