Coining a phrase!

“A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don’t need it.” ~ Bob Hope.

“If all the economists were laid end to end, they’d never reach a conclusion. ~George Bernard Shaw

Bitcoin imageRecently, there’s been a lot of new hype in the media regarding the currency Bitcoin. Now, if you’re like me you probably didn’t and haven’t got the courage to invest.

Well, I’ve been doing my homework, and maybe I should introduce you to someone who knows a little bit (pun intended).

A video from the hilarious camp of  Mark Humphries and The Feed!  Sit back and please Do Enjoy.

“Bitcoin is exciting because it shows how cheap it can be. Bitcoin is better than currency in that you don’t have to be physically in the same place and, of course, for large transactions, currency can get pretty inconvenient.” ~ Bill Gates

Might be convenient but what a shame that so many people have lost money on this!

As we discussed earlier Susan the overall appeal and charm of the bit coin has somehow waned. It lost a number of points in the stock market and generally speaking could casually now be referred to a “loose” change. Its portability and ease of use has recently been replaced by investor cynicism. It probably makes good sense to dissolve your bit coin shares and hold on to your nickels, dimes and pennies. This brand of free range currency lived a short and fruitless life so it seems. 🙂

    1. In all honesty, I found it an interesting concept, but didn’t fully understand the process.

Many years ago I attended a large recruitment gathering for pyramid sales. The item in question was a large domestic water filter, which was something that interested me.

Initially, I was on some sort of high listening to the very clever sales team sell the idea, but then their spiel began to remind me of the way religious cults whip up their audience to recruit new members. I came away from the meeting with the impression that the sales team had made a very good attempt at brainwashing.

Watching TV programs that showed large Bitcoin gatherings, with speakers using the same brainwashing techniques that I’d witnessed before, concerned me and, as events have shown, I was right to be concerned. Thank you for your input Gerry 🙂
