“It seems to me that trying to live without friends is like milking a bear to get cream for your coffee. It is a whole lot of trouble, and then not worth much after you get it.” ~ Zora Neale Hurston
Crag House Farm is a working farm, minutes away from my home and run by the Christian charity ‘Caring For Life.’
Yesterday as part of my birthday celebrations (milking it for all its worth!) I enjoyed lunch with my third daughter Lizzy in the very popular farm restaurant. The restaurant is comfortably housed in a beautifully renovated barn that dates back to the 17th Century.
The farm also boasts a comprehensive farm shop and a delightful little garden centre.
