The Invitation

Part Oneinvitation

During the last couple of weeks I sent out a number of invitations for my birthday party. I was late sending them  because I couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted a party. Did I really want to celebrate and announce to everyone how old I would be?

Not long ago invitations were sent out via the postal service. Not so these days, I sent only a handful using Royal Mail, the remainder were dispatched via Facebook messenger, e-mail and finally a few by hand. Shamefully, there are still a couple waiting to be dispatched!

To be continued.

Footnote: This short post also comprises of a personal challenge to include a response to the WordPress one word prompt.
