From a Journal to a Blog

The Day I Write My First Blog – A Short One!

So why am I writing this blog? Well, I’ve been writing a journal for some time and transferring a few snippets to a blog seems like a natural progression. Today, however, I’m simply dipping my toe in the water and keeping the content ‘short and sweet’.

Old Lady and loo from Sophie 2

I have plans for today, not big ones, just the mundane variety, although they’re dependent on me remaining relatively pain free, even the simplist of tasks depend on that. For instance, have you tried to have a pee when you can’t bend because of the sciatic pain in your bum?   Peeing from a height is not to be recommended;  men of course,  have an advantage,  however, having worked in a primary school, I can confirm that the aim is often a little inaccurate!  Anyway, today I’m adopting a positive attitude and I’m just going to get on with it.

Footnote: Grateful thanks to Sophie for her ‘Old lady’ drawing
